Every saffron thread is the stigma of a crocus flower, picked by hand. Each flower gives only three, which is why saffron is so treasured and why a little goes such a long way. Our Super Negin saffron is the finest cut there is: long, whole threads, deep red from end to end, with the flavorless yellow tips trimmed away.

How to use it

Gently crush a pinch of threads and steep them in a few tablespoons of warm water for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the golden liquid and the threads to your dish. Store the jar sealed in a cool, dark place, and it will stay bright and fragrant for well over a year.
